Every year, hundreds of enthusiasts flock to the Valle Zignago e Laguna di Caorle MTB Marathon, which is the most spectacular mountain bike race in the area. The magnificent sporting and entertainment event is organized by the Sagitta Bike association. The route is truly stunning not only because of the technical challenges that it presents but also – and most significantly – due to the outstanding beauty of the surroundings. It goes from the town centre of Concordia Sagittaria to the Valle Zignago nature area (a Special Protection Area and Site of Community Importance), while skirting Caorle Lagoon and going through unblemished natural environments and woods. The race is a delightful experience both for the participants and for the spectators, who get the chance to witness stunning athletic endeavours against the breathtaking natural backdrop of Eastern Veneto.

PROGRAMME:

Guided tour of Concordia Sagittaria and the Roman excavations, followed by lunch in a traditional restaurant. Free time to watch the race and admire the skills and athletic prowess of the mountain bikers.
