Legal regulations: The travel agreements covered by this programme are regulated by Italian Legislative Decree 206 of 06/09/2005 (the “Consumer Code”), Italian Law 1084 of 27/12/1977 (implementing the International Convention on Travel Contracts signed in Brussels on 23/04/1970) and art. 69 of Veneto Regional Law 33/2002.
The liability of the travel organizer shall be restricted to the limits imposed by the abovementioned law.
Registration applications shall be accepted while places are still available. It is necessary to pay the entire participation fee at the time of booking.
Withdrawal: Consumers who withdraw from the agreement for any reason that is not attributable to the vendor shall be charged the registration fee (if applicable), as well as amounts no higher than those stated below for the purposes of compensation:
- For cancellations 24 hours or more before departure, 30% of the amount paid shall be charged and the rest shall be refunded.
- There shall be no refunds for cancellations less than 24 hours before departure or people who end their trips/stays before the scheduled finish.
- There shall be no refunds for people who do not come to the place stated on the travel document (voucher) at the scheduled time or those who decide not to take part in the trip.
Events with tickets: Participants who withdraw must pay the full ticket price for the event in addition to the withdrawal penalties.
Requirements for the participants: For journeys to other countries, participants must have a valid document for travel to other countries (such as a passport). No refunds shall be given to people who are unable to start or continue a journey because they do not have a document of this kind.
Organizer’s liability: The organizer shall be liable for damage to the consumer caused by partial or complete failure to provide the services covered by the agreement, regardless of whether the services are provided by the organizer itself or by third parties. The only exceptions shall be if the issues preventing the agreement from being fulfilled are caused by the consumer (including cases when consumers do things on their own initiative during the provision of the tourist services) or the problems are unrelated to the provision of the services covered by the agreement, and in the event of unforeseeable circumstances, force majeure and any other situations that a professional, diligent organizer could not reasonably have been expected to foresee or resolve. In the event of bad weather conditions, ARMONIA VIAGGI reserves the right to replace a trip in a motor boat with a coach journey to the first available port, whence the journey shall continue in another boat as far as Venice.
Transport companies: Transport companies are only responsible for travellers during the period of transport with their vehicles, in accordance with the provisions established by their transport terms and conditions.
Infants and children: Infants under 2 years of age do not occupy a seat during coach transport, so they have the right to a 100% discount. For some trips, a small charge shall be applicable for insurance coverage. Children between 2 and 11 years of age are eligible for a discount on the adult ticket price. Children aged 12 and over must pay the full adult ticket price.
Compulsory notice: Pursuant to art. 16 of Italian Law 269 of 03/08/1998, we hereby inform you that “under Italian law, crimes relating to child pornography and prostitution shall be punished with a prison sentence, even if they are committed in other countries”.
