A party atmosphere fills the air on Wednesday nights during the summer in Portogruaro. The town never looks more spectacular than it does in the summer and the top groups in Northeast Italy perform at special music events every Wednesday. Città Viva – Mercoledì Musicali (Vibrant Town – Musical Wednesdays) is the name of an unmissable initiative that offers everyone the opportunity to spend a few hours having fun, taking it easy, enjoying the summer and savouring a cocktail or some delicious artisan ice cream as they listen to the music. The shops lining the streets are open during the event and the main gathering spots in Portogruaro’s old town centre are turned into little stages for bands and solo artists, who perform live rock, jazz, folk, pop and lots of other genres of music. The initiative is organized by the Portogruaro Pro Loco local development association in partnership with Confcommercio Portogruaro-Bibione-Caorle and Portogruaro Town Council.

PROGRAMM:

Meet the guide in Portogruaro and start the tour of the main architectural and historical sights in the majestic town, which was founded in the Middle Ages and grew into an important settlement under the rule of the Republic of Venice.
The tour will conclude with dinner in a traditional establishment by the Lemene River, with a selection of local products. Participants will then have free time to watch the concerts on the squares and streets of the old town centre. Alternatively, they can visit the town centre and the shops, which will be open. Return journey by bus.
