The Lemene River takes centre stage, the streets are decorated, stands are piled high with food and wine, and batee (traditional rowing boats from Concordia Sagittaria) race against the clock. Gira Concordia is a multi-faceted event that gets the whole area involved in traditional activities. It combines history, great local cuisine, sport and community values.

From sunrise until sunset, you will have the chance to fall in love with the flavours of traditional Concordia dishes at the Fish Festival. In the afternoon, you can enjoy the sight of the finest rowers in the area ploughing through the water of the enchanting Lemene River during the legendary Gara dee batee.

PROGRAMME:

Guided tour of Concordia Sagittaria and its historical wonders, with a fish lunch based on age-old local recipes. There will then be a chance to see the “batee” battling it out with their oars.
