“Notturni di versi” is a festival of poetry and nocturnal arts that has been organized since 2005 by “Il Porto dei Benandanti”, a cultural association from Portogruaro. A number of towns in Eastern Veneto are involved in the festival, including Portogruaro, Fossalta di Portogruaro, Teglio Veneto and Concordia Sagittaria. It provides a venue for experimentation and research, where poetry, art, literature and entertainment all benefit from the same gateway to the general public. The leading names in contemporary poetry appear in the numerous events on the “Notturni di versi” bill. Live performances, readings by moonlight, artistic displays and thrilling poetry slams make summer an extremely vibrant season in the Portogruaro area. The little festival has become one of the most significant cultural initiatives in the area.

PROGRAMME:

Guided tour of Concordia Sagittaria, followed by a boat transfer to Portogruaro to visit the town centre and the Town Museum. Dinner in a typical local establishment. As the sun goes down, we will listen to the enchanting verses and poetic inspirations of the artists.
