In the first half of November, the local wineries open their doors once again and offer visitors the opportunity to taste new wine and traditional products from the surrounding area. Vino Novello is ready just a few weeks after the grapes have been picked. It is made using a special technique called “carbonic maceration”, which is similar to the method utilized for the famous “vin murato” that Benedictine monks first started producing in the 16^th century. To pay tribute to this magnificent wine, farms and wine estates work in close partnership with the Lison-Pramaggiore DOC Wine Route to organize tastings, evening events and special food and wine itineraries.

PROGRAMME:

Guided winery tour. Traditional rustic products for lunch in the winery, along with a tasting of a selection of labels. Departure for Portogruaro, where we will visit the Town Museum and the old town centre.
