The “12 ore Città di Portogruaro” is a 12-hour road bicycle endurance event that has been organized by the Sagitta Bike association since 2012. Every year it attracts hundreds of cyclists from all over Italy, who race around a circuit on the main streets in Portogruaro old town centre. It is a magnificent showcase for the historical qualities and Renaissance architecture of the surrounding buildings, which majestically look down on the exciting racing from above. For 12 hours Portogruaro becomes one big venue for sport and entertainment, as people come together to enjoy the racing, the shops and the displays of specialist exhibitors.

PROGRAMME:

Guided tour of Portogruaro and the Town Museum. As the sun goes down, we will admire the breathtaking athletic feats of the cyclists. We will have dinner in a traditional establishment on the Lemene River.
